He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lassiter and Swannie Lassiter; his wife Bessie Lassiter; his daughter Synthia Diane Lassiter; and his siblings, Alfred Jr., John, Hal, Hulon Lassiter, Christine Rudd, Mary Bowman, Bettie Lou Cranford, Mattie Mae Self and Lois Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Wynne (David) and Michael Lassiter (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Dale Mann (Amy), Mitch Mann (Jennifer) and Mary Catherine Wicker (Justin); his great grandchildren, Austin Mann (Caitlin), McKayla Mann (Jorrin), Maddux Mann, Londyn Mann, Ava Wicker and Charlotte Wicker; his great great grandchild McKinley Mann; his caregiver Jan Phillips; his sister Carolyn Greer; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Lassiter, Barbara Saunders, Barbara Ann Thompson, Maggie Satterfield, Glenda Saunders and Peggy Pickard.
