It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Thaxton (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his aunts and uncles, Barbara Sue Harris, Amy Hester, Winfraud Thaxton, Curtis Harris, Robert Harris and James L. Thaxton.
He is survived by: his aunts, Ruby Harris of Burlington and Christine Wright of Burlington; his cousin Wayne Hester; and his close friend Louis Lawson. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217).
