He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Dedmon Steele; his daughter Karen Steele Havey; his grandchildren, Joseph Dedmon Havey (Leyla), Henry William Havey and Katherine Carol Havey; his daughter Carol Steele Stephens (Mike); and his son-in-law Daniel E. Havey.
