He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Lynn May (Shirley) and Vicki May Holmes; his grandchildren, Robert Monroe May (Jennifer), Carrie May Sowards (Casey), Andrew May, Jeffrey May, Jr., Jared Holmes (Katie) and Michael Holmes (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Brantley, Kennedy, Harper Holmes, Jessie and Gracie Sowards; and his stepchildren, Jo Joyce Wyatt (Don), Dennis Purdy, Sharon Fruitt (Randy) and Gary Purdy (Rosie). He is also survived by 18 step grandchildren; and 20 step great grandchildren.
