He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lewis Hopkins, Sr. and Dessie Morene Hopkins; and his siblings, Delinda Jane Duckworth, Martin Luther Hopkins, Grover Lewis Hopkins, Jr. and Mark Lewis Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hopkins; his daughters, Denise Palmer (Larry) of Bridgeport, PA, Christine Wright (Roger) of Snow Camp and Rebecca Gabrielli (Richard) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Robin Voiles (Darryl Rowe), David Voiles, Hagan Jumani (Toni), Yasmin Peters (Zak), Anna van Amerongen (Max), William Gabrielli (Katya Samano Romo) and Grace Gabrielli; and his siblings, Grace Rhodes of Burlington and Bennie Lee Hopkins (Susan) of Burlington.
