It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Allred (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Haywood Allred and Ida Jacqueline Isley Allred; and his grandparents, Thomas, Katy Allred, John Garmon and Lavona Isley.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Yvonne Fralix Allred; his stepchildren, Megan and Matthew Simpson; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Dillon Simpson; his sisters, Judy Pruitt (Earnest) and Ann Holsonback; his nephew Robert Johnston (Genie); his nieces, Kelly Teague (Trey) and Tillery Baker (Yance); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison, Evan Johnston, Abigail, Caroline, Riley Teague, Marley and Monroe Baker.
