With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denise Moore Loye of Burlington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert William Moore and Joy Payne Walker; her sister Ava Dawn Moore Bailey; her stepparents, Hazelene Moore and Anderson "Andy" Walker; and her nephew Delbert "DJ" Stewart, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Loye; her daughter Ashley Loye Bason (Eddie Bordeaux); her grandchildren, Dallas Robert Bason and Chandler Elise Bason; her nieces and nephews, Timothy Brian Bailey, Matthew Bailey (Megan), Bobby Stewart, Jeremiah Stewart (Rebecca), Jonathan Stewart (Ronna), James Stewart (Chassity), Patricia Snyder Underwood (Wes), David Snyder (Jennifer) and Allison Davis Collins (John); her cousin Elizabeth Isley Murray; her stepsisters, Brenda Scarborough, Carolyn Simpson and Mary Frances Stevens; her siblings-in-law, Jean Loye Stewart, Shirley Loye Snyder and Michael Davis (Vicky); and her son-in-law Matthew S. Bason.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bellemont Methodist Church (4039 Markwood Rd, Burlington, NC 27215). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bellemont Methodist Church Cemetery (4039 Markwood Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
