She was predeceased by: her parents, Argentina Joseph Woods and Willie Ophelia Garrett (Farrington); and her sisters, Lisa Coble and Melrose Reddy Coble. She is survived by: her children, Latoya "Boobie" Rasheen Woods (Greg Haith), Steven "Jemel" Worth (Kevin McGraw) and Chad Lamont Worth (TuSheaka Hill); her grandchildren, Da'Quan Hester, Tyasia Hester, Mason Hester and Gabrielle Worth; her great grandchild Yahri Hester; and her siblings, Monique Boyd, Ann "Pat" Turner (George Payne), Avis Garrett, Mike Garrett (Sharon), Dwayne Garrett, Tyron Coble (Gina) and Gail Reddy.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to UNC Hospice.
