He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayfield Stephens Sr. and Barbara Jones Stephens; and his brothers, David Stephens and Rev. Barry Stephens. He is survived by: his siblings, Gertrude "Sissy" Corbett (Joe) of Burlington, NC, Rev Pamler Pope-Plummer of Bronx, Catherine Daye (Raymond) of Burlington, NC, Debra Alexander (Ricky) of Burlington, NC, Ronny Stephens (Andrita) of Jacksonville, FL and Rayfield Stephens Jr. (Vanessa) of Haw River, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
