He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Annette Morgan; and his grandfather Gary White. He is survived by: his father Marvin Lee Cheeley; his children, Cedrick Jaquan, Tyler Kweli, Saniya Kelis, Bray, Zaire and Kaiya Annette; his wife Ashely; his close friend Sequoia Eubanks; his siblings, Tiffany Lawson of Florida and Gionni Matthews of Atlanta; and his grandparents, Thomas R. of Burlington, Dorothy C. Poteat of Burlington, Marion L. Harvey of Burlington and Emma R. White of Burlington. He is also survived by eight uncles and three aunts, one nephew, two godsons.
