It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Sandy Norris (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Curtis Norris; her parents, Willie W. Sandy (Bill) and Stella Mae Smith Sandy; her son Dwight D. Norris; and her brothers, Bobby L. Sandy, Bill Sandy, Jr. and Charlie E. Sandy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda N. Witherow (Tim) and Sharon N. Harvey (Rodney); her grandchildren, Laurin Underwood (James) and Bekah Frye (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Madison, Parker Underwood, Adalynn and Hudson Frye; and her siblings, Paul W. Sandy and Elsie S. Broome. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
