It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Murray (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Tickle and Mary Hudgins Tickle; and her sisters, Eva Hall, Lossie Austin and Doris Moore.

She is survived by: her husband David Carlton Murray; her daughters, Renae Allison (Gary) of Graham and Lorie Gaines (Darrell) of Elon; her grandchildren, Jordan Gaines, Alexandria Gaines and Hope Dodson (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Landon and Noah Dodson; and her sisters, Ruby Simmons of Burlington and Wonnie Collins of Chapel Hill.
