It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Rogers-Bradshaw (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Dorothy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Edward Rogers and Monnie Eva Willis Rogers; her husband Steve V. Bradshaw; her daughters, Michelle Rogers, Angela Bradshaw Crawford (Alvin) and Carla B. Corbett; her grandchildren, Dazean Crawford (Brittany) and Sasha Garcia Crawford; and her niece Christie Fontaine-Covington.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
