She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gray Wheeler, Sr. and Abby Lou Adams Wheeler; her husband Haywood Poole; her son Arnold Poole; her sisters, Shirley Leonard, Patricia Willets and Peggy Porterfield; and her siblings' children, Ronnie Hogan and Patricia Porterfield.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Burgess (Brian), Corliss Meadows (Wayne) and Anthony Poole (Cindy); and her brother Donald Wheeler, Jr.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
