He was predeceased by: his parents, John Linnens and Ethel Guthrie Linnens; his wife Annie Dare; his daughter Anita Ayala; his son-in-law Livvie W. Vann; his grandson Frank Ayala; and his brothers, Max (Anne) and Gus (Ruby).
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Vann of Burlington; his grandchildren, Jason Vann (Edith), Stephanie Horth (Justin), Alyssia Ayala, Deanna Ayala, Tony Ayla, Jr. (Tammy), Tina Ayala and Miguel Ayala; his great grandchildren, Christian Horth, Bridget Vann, Madeline Vann, Jade Ayala and Audi Romero; and his son-in-law Tony Ayala of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
