It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dudley B. Clinard of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Miller Clinard; and his parents, Garland C. Clinard and Ann Clodfelter Clinard. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa C. Nicholson (John) of Graham and Tracy C. Byrd (Gerald) of Cary; his grandchildren, Kay Marshall (Benjamin), Saxton Nicholson (Alexis), Miller Byrd (Elizabeth) and Leanne Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Melanie Byrd, Macklynn Nicholson and Deacon Marshall.

I'll always remember him as a very kind and gentle soul, willing to go out of his way for others. I can't pass the little house at the corner of South Church St. at Hillside without thinking of he and his sweet wife, Ann....as I did just earlier this week.”
