Though Earl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Earl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parent Euguene Rogers; and his siblings, Leonard Rogers, James Edward Rogers (Nshia) of Brown Summit, NC, Jerry Lee Rogers and Pam Harvey.
He is survived by: his mother Ophelia Totten of Burlington; his daughter Whittney Lasha Harrington (Tandria Jones) of Vass, NC; and his sisters, Evangelist Brenda Graves (James) of Burlington and Marile Rogers of Graham. He is also survived by relatives, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
