He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Tara Thomas Fierle (Kevin) of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Nora and Lukas Fierle; his siblings, Ed Thomas of Winston Salem, Terry Thomas (Sandy) of Graham, Joe Thomas of Charlotte and Tammy Karnes (Jeff) of Graham; and his parents, John Thomas and Delma Thomas.
