He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Clapp Ray (Dennis) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Holli Johnson (Ronnie) of Liberty, Seth Welker (Amanda) of Julian and Katie Brown of Burlington; his great grandchildren, Cylee Welker, Sawyer Welker and William Welker; his siblings, Carolyn Wimbish of Burlington, Vangie Clapp of Liberty, Bobbie Clapp of Liberty, Fran Clapp Cook (Doug) of Liberty and Don Clapp of Liberty; and his sister-in-law Norma Clapp of Liberty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
