Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eleanor Johnson Durham of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 89, on September 1, 2023. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Zelma Johnson and Leo Johnson; her siblings, Jeff, Hal and Fay of Burlington; her son James C. "Jimmy" Durham, IV; her grandson James Christopher Durham of Asheville, NC.; her children, Zachary Wayne Durham-Nash (Jessie) of Chapel Hill, Nissa Tyree of Wake Forest and Karli Durham of Burlington; her husband Alex; her sons, Chase Kenneth Harrod and Conner James Harrod of Dacula, GA.; her great grandchild Nissa (Chris); and her granddaughters, Oakley and Riley Tyree.

While Eleanor loved flowers immensely, she preferred that donations be made to Authoracare's Hospice Home on Chapel Hill Road after all of the love and kindness shown to her and her family, to the St. Jude's Hospital and to any Veteran's organization because of their dedication and service to our country.
