She is survived by: her children, Robert Nelson Saffelle (Constance Hall Saffelle) of Richmond, VA and Ginger Saffelle Elliott (John VanTuyl Elliott) of Winston-Salem, NC; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Saffelle Gordon (Robert Gordon) of Charlottesville, VA, Katherine Saffelle Corey (Mason Corey) of Richmond, VA, Ashley Elliott Hill (Andrew Hill) of Charlotte, NC, Anna Elliott Allbright (Tim Allbright) of Winston-Salem, NC, John Robert Elliott (Kristin Heyward) of Raleigh, NC and Mary Elizabeth Elliott of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Front Street United Methodist Church (136 S Fisher St, Burlington, NC 27215).
