It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Mae Brooks Greene (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Clydus Brooks; her husband Benjamin Parker Greene; and her brothers, Bobby and Curtis Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Mae Greene, Parker Maurice Greene (JoAnn) and Teresa Greene McBride (Bill); and her siblings, Fredricka Spann, Lavanda Trentham, Charles Brooks and I. N. Brooks. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
