She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamen Herman and Ola Dare Sasser Rose; her spouse Royce Lester Snipes; and her sisters, Marie Phillips and Charlene Rose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elma Beth Snipes Sharpe (Steve) and Vickie Snipes Richard (David); her grandchildren, Mary Dare Olsen (Steve), Phillip Eugene Pardue (Leia), Teresa Nichole Greco (Travis) and Tara Rose Greco; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Dare Olsen, Hunter Robert Olsen, Adelyn Rose Elmore, Elijah Bane Elmore and Royce Pennington Smith. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church at 3859 Hwy 70 W, Goldsboro, NC 27530 or St. John's Baptist Church at 1615 Oberlin Road A, Raleigh, NC 27560.
