He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Cambria Hatley; his parents, Earl Hatley and Minnie Eudy Hatley; his children, David Hatley and Mary Hatley Ricks; and his brothers, Glenn Hatley, Horace Hatley, Spencer Hatley and Cecil Hatley.

He is survived by: his sons, Frank Hatley, Thomas Hatley and Billy Hatley (Sharon); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Mary, Thomas, Joey and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Jamier, Dalayla, R. J., Sarah and David.
