We are sad to announce that, on May 11, 2026, at the age of 47, Eric Wayne Peterson (Burlington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eric departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eric. Though Eric may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Peterson and Barbara Anne Lloyd Gnatek; and his sister Barbara Anne Kukielka. He is survived by: his brother Anthony "Tony" Kukielka (Brandy); his niece Elizabeth Kirkpatrick (Trey); his nephew Anthony "Cole" Kukielka; his great-niece Kennedy Kirkpatrick; his aunt Elaine Wagner; his uncle Hector Peterson; and his caregiver Terrie Foust.
