She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Graves Sr. and Idella Jeffries Graves; her husband Gilbert Scott; and her siblings, Carl Graves Jr. (Hilder Graves), Joe Graves (Wanda), Ailene Graves, Marcelene Graves, Gerlene Graves, Catherine Cheek, Shirley Alston and Everlyne Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Angeline Daye (Charlie Daye), Carolina Arnold (Thomas Arnold), Carolyn Alston and William Alston; her sisters, Brenda Graves, Isabella Graves and Naomi Shelton; and her grandchildren, Bianca Fox (Anthony Fox), Monica Pennix, Natasha Graves, Christina Alston, Justice Alston, Tameka Davis, Lebrea Alston, Lamia Alston, Leila Alston and David McLeod. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren.
