She is survived by: her children, Nancy Emogene Kernodle of Elon and Eric Watson Kernodle of Elon; her siblings-in-law, Laura Jane K. McPherson of Elon, Nancy K. Sain of Burlington and Wayne Kernodle of Elon; and her close friend Delois Summers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
