She was predeceased by: her husband George Harrison Thompson of Burlington, NC; her son Dennis Crawford; and her siblings, Doris Long, Joyce Long and Douglas Long.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Scott and Susan Wagman of Parkton, NC; her siblings, Peggy Long (Bobbie) and Jesse Long (Pat); and her grandchildren, Jami Scott (Brandi), Jessica Crawford Freeman, Natosha Crawford, Sheldon Kinney and Brittany Kinney. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
