She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsbun Jackson Griffis and Bertie Thompson Griffis; her grandson Eugene "Goo" Lee, Jr.; and her siblings, Sandy Griffis and Una Mae Griffis Oliver. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
