With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Meadows Jr. of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Orlando, Florida, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Fred leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Van; and his sister Laurie. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Meadows (Meece); his sons, Logan Meadows (Kim) of Burlington, NC, Tyler Meadows (Shannon) of Charlotte, NC and Andrew Meadows (Hally) of Charlotte, NC; his mother Marcia; and his sister Amy of Lake Placid, Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Highland Football Club in Asheville to honor Fred's name would be appreciated.
