It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay Foster Sharpe of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Foster and Cleta Foster; her brother Floyd Foster (Harveline); and her niece Cathy Kilgore. She is survived by: her husband Larry Sharpe; her son Orin (Noelle); her granddaughters, Lucy and Marin; and her sisters, Jane Sharpe of Graham and Penny Butler (Tony) of Burlington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
