With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Crumpton Hensley (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Crumpton and Emma Lee Belton Crumpton; her husband Howard Hensley; her daughter Carolyn Marie Massey Jordan; and her siblings, Ruby Chambers, Ida Collie, Aaron Crumpton, Roy Crumpton and Hurbert "Buck" Crumpton.
She is survived by: her son H. Dwight Hensley (Debbie); her grandchildren, Harold Huffines, Michael "Taylor" Hensley, Nic Ingle (Shanda) and Kelly Ingle; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Uhl, Lily Uhl, Dayne Uhl, Anna Claire Ingle, Jackson Ingle and Janie Ingle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
