She was predeceased by: her husband Garrett Ray Simpson; and her parents, Zimmie Hurley Pickard and Josie Nall Pickard. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Angelia Davis Howell, Robin Simpson McAdam and Garrett Scott Simpson; and her brother-in-law Jack T. Rigsbee.
