With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Wendell Plumblee (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Plumblee (Chandler) and Millard Quentin "M. Q." Plumblee; and his brother Byron Cornell Plumblee. He is survived by: his wife Janice Little Plumblee of Burlington; his children, Bonnie Richardson of Charlotte, NC and Paul Richardson (Irene) of Raleigh, NC; his brother Mark Little (Brown); his granddaughters, Dorian and Camryn; and his nieces, Emily, Carol Rose and Grace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Foundation of Dan River Region, Plumblee Scholarship Fund, a fund supporting Caswell County High School graduates, with a preference to those planning to attend four- year university (cfdrr.org / 434-793-0884).
