He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Braxton and Betty Emma Graves Braxton. He is survived by: his wife Alice Pickard Braxton; his children, Jon Braxton and Elizabeth "Beth" Braxton Burke; and his grandchildren, Josiah Burke (Elizabeth), Aaron Burke (Emily), Zack Burke (Mya), Adam Braxton, Emma Burke Shipp (Justin), Maggie Burke Bryant (Nolan), Abigail Burke Meade (Kellen), Olivia Burke Crain (Joshua) and Hannah Burke.
