It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Sue Dabbs (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Dewitt Gouge and Kathryn Carder Gouge; her husband Donald Wayne Dabbs; her daughter Tracy Dabbs Madden; and her sister Lucy Brendell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Newcomer (Danny) and Penny Hatch (Jim); her grandchildren, Tabitha Manuel (Scott), Jake Hatch (Morgan), Rachel Hatch, Kevin Newcomer (Ashley), Nick Newcomer (Chelsea) and Tiffany Kerr (Jamie); and her sisters, Linda Joiner (Larry) and Libby Brown. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
