She is survived by: her children, Kathryn McAdams (Red), David Smith (Cheryl), Ragsdale Smith (Cindy), Steven Smith (Jennifer) and Matthew Smith (Tammy); her grandchildren, Susanne Rhodes (Chris), Bronson Fuqua (Emily), Joshua Smith, Megan Austin, Caleb Smith, Jennifer Shingleton, Forrest Smith (Payton), Hallie Smith, Mack Smith, Charles Smith, Kassandra Smith and Thomas Smith; and her great grandchildren, William Rhodes, Samuel Rhodes, Hannah Shingleton, Christopher Shingleton, Alyssa Duggins, Ayden King, Atticus Austin, Mary Austin, Ryder Smith and Raston Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Burlington Assembly of God (821 Tucker St, Burlington, NC 27215).
