With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Lance Shirley (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lance and Ruth Riggle Lance; her sons, Robert Jody Crabtree and Steve Kunkleman; and her sisters, Janet, Alice and Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Shirley; her daughters, Kelly DeRossett, Mindy Perrine, Tracy Fulk and Teresa Gray (John); her grandchildren, Cody Crabtree, Kimberly, Jessie, Darius, Brittany, Samuel, Kristen, Chasity, Fiona, Camille, Layna and Raelan; and her sister Harriett Emily.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
