He is survived by: his wife Velma Ree Holt Barnhardt; his children, Brad Barnhardt (Jennifer), Wendy Hamilton (George) and Carol Armstrong; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashlynn Barnhardt, Christopher Rose, Jeremy Forbis, Kaylynn Reid, Sean and Stan Armstrong; and his siblings, Richard (Gail), Ruth Wade (Robert) and Rene Summers (Dana). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
