He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Derwood and Margaret Crutchfield Finison. He is survived by: his wife Ki Sun Kang Finison; his stepdaughters, Tanya Yow (Chris) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Gia Cook (Devan) of Bolivia, NC; his grandchildren, Justin Thomas (Grace) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Quincy Holmes of Oak Island, NC, Keely Andrews of Supply, NC and Rylan Cook of Bolivia, NC; his great grandchild Kaliyah Randolph of Supply, NC; and his close friend Robert Phillips of Cary, NC..
