He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Buckland and Barbara Buckland; his son Robert Buckland; his brother Larry Buckland (Billie Jo); his brothers-in-law, Barney Menasian and Jack Hensley; and his close friend Dora Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, James Wm and Kimberly of Beckley; and his siblings, Glenn Buckland (Donna) of Greensboro, Carl Buckland (Elizabeth), Louise Hensley of Burlington and Hilda Menasian of Lyman, S. C..
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
