He is survived by: his wife Daphne Culbreth Johnson; his children, Deborah Johnson (Rex) of Hope Mills, Cynthia Johnson (Raymond Manley) of Gastonia and Richard Johnson (Vicky); his sister Barbara Allen (Jay) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Samantha Stevens, Ashley Webster and Andrew Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Reid Webster, Kella Johnson, Jason Allred and Naomi Johnson.
