He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Yancey Rudd and Mattie Elizabeth Cobb Rudd; his daughter Kathryn Marshall Rudd Smith; his son-in-law William Alvis Jordan; his stepson David Murphy; and his brother Louie Rudd.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rudd; his daughter Deborah Rudd Jordan; his grandchildren, Adam Marshall Jordan (Meredith), Kelly Elizabeth Westbrook (Jason) and Marsha Smith Foust (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Sam, Lilly, Hannah Grace, Maddison, Anna Cate, Cora and Wesson; his stepsons, Randy Murphy (Debbie) and Barry Murphy; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Murphy (Julie), Patrick Murphy, Johnathan Murphy (Stephanie), Kevin Murphy (Amber), Philip Murphy (Allyson) and Samantha Murphy Davis (Devon); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jarrett, Brycen, Adalyn, Brixton, Charlie, Brantley, Riley, Connor and Vincent; and his siblings, Sarah Rudd Zimmerman (Worth) and Bill Rudd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
