He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slaughter, Sr. and Ollie Marie Kennedy Slaughter; his siblings, Donald Slaughter and Judi Slaughter McGowen Albright; and his nephew Scott Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Slaughter; his children, Tristan Lowe Slaughter of Henderson, Adam James Slaughter (Kelli) of Colorado and Crystal Marie Slaughter (Alex Fritsche) of Milwaukee, WI; his stepchildren, Wyatt, Ryan Ehinger, Greg Mullis (Susan) of Burlington, Beth Geiger of Burlington, William Thompson, Jr. of Snow Camp, Joseph Thompson of Oklahoma, Stephanie Anderson of Graham, Dylan Hall of Graham and Mike Sullivan (Carrie) of Graham; his grandchildren, Paul Anderson, Trenton Thompson, Neal Thompson, Marissa Anderson, Trinity Slaughter, Alex Geiger, Ella Thompson, Eva Thompson, Brady Geiger, Gage Slaughter, Ariana Fritsche, Nathan Anderson, A. J. Fritsche, Brayden Anderson, Adalee Fritsche, Eversyn Thompson, Abbey Fritsche, Ellington Thompson, Alessandra Fritsche, Ava Fritsche and Matthew Slaughter; and his siblings, Bill Slaughter, Jr. (Sandy) of Goldston, Johnny Slaughter (Beth) of Gibsonville and Becky Whitesell (Terry) of Graham. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
