He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Theodore Turner and Maggie Ann Bradsher Turner; his birth parents, Baxter and Martha Brincefield; his siblings, Luther Robert Turner, Wallace Andrew Turner, Sr., Mary Turner Talley, Ann Feaster and George Blackwell; and his granddaughter-in-law Nikki Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Evans Turner; his son Rev. James Lamont Turner, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Ponzella Marie Turner; his grandsons, Marlon Brown of Bethlehem, PA, Lamont Turner Jr. (Ashley) of Fort Leavenworth, KS, Cory Turner (Brooke) of Greensboro, NC and Neal Turner of Dallas, TX; and his brother Curtis Fuller. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
