It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Boswell Lee of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Preston Boswell Sr. and Lillian Walker Boswell; her husband James "Jim" Lee; her siblings, John P. Boswell Jr., Catherine Boswell and Nancy Carolyn Boswell; her parents-in-law, J. Carl Lee and Irene Blanchard Lee; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Lee, Kayo Page, Rachel Carney Lee and Carolyn Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Lee (Alberto Mares) of Sante Fe, NM, Donna Clapp (Mark) of Burlington, Jay Lee (Lisa Temple) of Burlington, Philip Lee (Tom Cozart) of New York, NY and Janet Lee (Scott Youngdahl) of Lexington, VA.; her grandchildren, Walker Clapp (Liz), Braxton Clapp (Terilynn), Blair Lee Langley (Kaleb), Lilyanne Lee (Damon Atkins), Sophia Youngdahl, Hallie Lee, Howard Youngdahl, Jacob Grenier and Tyler Grenier; her great grandchildren, Hunter of James, A. J., Watson, Madeline and Fox; her siblings, Charles Boswell (Mary Jo) and Rachel Boswell Page; and her parents-in-law, Richard V. Lee (Pam), Mary Garrison Lee and Linda G. Lee.
