He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Morton; and his stepmother Linda Morton. He is survived by: his wife Denise Morton; his siblings, Cathy Reiter (Michael) of Colorado and Gerry Morton (Faye) of Greensboro; his siblings' children, Katie Morton Riddle (Garrett) and Thomas Morton; and his pets, Mama Cat, Fluffy and Sweet Pea.
