With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Chase of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Clay, West Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Roscoe Gill and Stella Hanshaw Gill; her son Gregory "Greg" Chase; and her siblings, Dorothy Seifert and Dalton Gill.

She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Chase (Walid Nicola); her great grandchildren, Evelyn, George and Daphne Pell; and her siblings, Sue Davis (Edmund) and Donald Gill (Kaye). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice Home, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
