It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Gilmer Billings (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Graham Gilmer; her sister Lillie Beatrice Gilmer; her grandchildren, Clyde Alvin III and Sarah Elizabeth Billings; her former husband Clyde A. Billings, Sr.; and her close friend D. R. Stewart.
She is survived by: her sons, Clyde Alvin Billings, Jr. (Fran) and William Michael Billings, Sr. (Jolie); her grandchildren, Christine Billings Hoblit (Bob), Lindsay Billings, Mike Billings, Jr. (April) and Taylor Billings Vanlandingham (Juston); her great grandchildren, Audrey, Lucy Billings, Hayden Kivett, Bobby Hoblit, Harley, Jasper and Lillian Vanlandingham; and her daughter-in-law Amanda Isley Billings.
