He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon McAdams and Anne Blue McAdams; and his siblings, Laura McAdams and Doug McAdams. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Grant McAdams; his children, Monica Johnson (Ryan) of Burlington and Grant Saunders (Alyssa) of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Saunders Johnson, Duke Johnson, Colt Saunders, Peyten Gambrell and Hattie Mae Saunders.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Cemetery (201 N Oak Ave, Elon, NC 27244).
